1. Follow a Realistic Diet Plan

It’s tempting to chase quick results but resist the urge for instant gratification! Quick fixes often lead to quick weight regain, and no one wants that. I lost over 30kg, but here’s the secret. I couldn’t stick to a diet if I felt like I was eating like a rabbit, eating bland food, there was zero enjoyment, or I was constantly exhausted. This is why restrictive diets don’t work. They make you miserable and teach you nothing.

If you want results that are sustainable, you need to diet in a sustainable way.

Here’s a typical diet from one of my lovely clients, before we started working together:

  • Meal 1, 201 cals: 1 egg, egg whites, 1 slice bread, black coffee
  • Meal 2, 92 cals: small tin tuna, ½ cucumber
  • Meal 3, 114 cals: protein powder, water
  • Meal 4, 252 cals: cottage cheese, 4 thin rice cakes, ½ tomato
  • Meal 5, 135 cals: chicken breast, 1 cup veggies

No wonder she wasn’t happy with her plan or her results! It’s time to bring this cycle to an end and empower you with a sustainable, enjoyable, and achievable plan.

For those who’ve been exercising for a while and are looking to tone up (think summer-ready shoulders and a tight bum), it’s important to challenge yourself with frequent and varied exercises. Remember, workouts are supposed to be work—they should push you out of your comfort zone, but not to the point where you dread doing them or risk injury.
